VTG PAPER DOLLS 1949 JUDY JIM MOTHER GOOSE1940s HILDA MILOCHE LOTS UNCUT RARE!!!

You can look at a paper doll created by Hilda Miloche and know that it was done with her unique style and beauty.  Any of her art is highly collectible.  This was the second "Judy and Jim Story Book" and was published in 1949 by Simon and Shuster.  This one has the children in Mother Goose Land with the costumes from many of our favorite rhymes from childhood.  There is the usual storage and spine wear of the covers.  Some of the pages are loose but I checked and the storybook is complete.  There are 3 of the cardboard pieces missing, one of the 3 kittens, the rock a bye baby piece and a little dog.  The cow has a foot missing in the photo but that is included.  I think I remember doing a repair on it when I did the photos. There are 2 dolls have some neck creases but are in good condition otherwise.  There are 4 uncut pages of costumes, 2 of them half cut and the cut out costumes are included.  The storage trunk in the back of the book has pocket tears.  Overall this is in great condition for being 72 years old.  Please view the photos carefully. I did run out of photo space to give you close ups of some of the flaws.  I have tried to be as thorough as possible telling you about flaws but I may have missed something.  This is a very rare book that doesn't come up for sale very often.
My paper doll collection has been purchased from other collectors and on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke way back when, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and I don't know if that lingers.  I do try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
