Description
This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the release of theOriginal London Cast recording of the JULIAN FELLOWES, RICHARD M. SHERMAN and ROBERT B. SHERMAN musical "MARY POPPINS" on Walt Disney Records
. (The Original West End production opened October 15th, 2004
at London's Prince Edward Theatre
and closed January 12th, 2008 after more than 1250 performances. The
Original Broadway production
opened November 16th, 2006
at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City
and closed March 3rd, 2013 after 2619 performances.) .....
Based on the stories of P. L. TRAVERS and the Walt Disney film, the Original London production starred LAURA MICHELLE KELLY in the title role, GAVIN LEE as "Bert", DAVID HAIG as "George Banks" and LINZI HATELEY as "Winifred Banks" and featured ROSEMARY ASHE, JENNY GALLOWAY and JULIA SUTTON with NICOLA BOWMAN, CARRIE FLETCHER, POPPY LEE FRIAR, CHARLOTTE SPENCER and FAYE SPITTLEHOUSE
alternating in the role of "Jane Banks" and JAKE CATTERALL, PERRY MILLWARD, JACK MONTGOMERY, HARRY STOTT and BEN WATTON alternating in the role of "Michael Banks"

This single page, two-sided flyer measures 5 3/4" X 8 1/4" inches and includes a photo of the London Cast CD on the front and an order form on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle, this flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
