I have a .357 6" Bull Barrel K-Frame S+W that fits in here perfect
it fits my Model 1911 .45 ACP really, really well - but not too many who carry those want to use an authentic cowboy holster . . . but you definitely could - you'd probably want to find a pouch for extra clips
This pocket is 7 1/2" Deep at the front, and 4 1/2" wide at the top.
My .357 bullets fit the loops just fine - looks like it would accommodate a .44 or .45
Open muzzle
There are 12 bullet loops
the leather has been sueded a little inside the pocket as well as the inside of the belt
The trigger stay is adjustable to any set-up your pistols might have.
The belt measures 40" from tip to tip. It has marked as a size "34" and it seems to go out to about a 38" waist with the current hole system. the belt is 2 1/2" Wide - just right as far as I am concerned (I'm an old Arizona cowboy.)
That's the reason this is UNUSED.  Got it as a gift - well after I fit into a size 38 . . . !!
Kept it because it is so well made and looks so good.
Alas - I've been blessed with girls and granddaughters, so there is no son or grandson to hand this down to.
