The Grand Haven mailbox and post combo is a must-have for residents who receive high volumes of online packages. This extra-large mailbox is generously designed to safely store multiple small to large size parcels with ease, and protect your packages from the elements. The entire unit is constructed from durable, rust-proof plastic, while the mailbox also features a double-wall construction for increased strength. Looks good, perfect height, big enough for most packages sent by mail. Feels just a touch wobbly when opening mail box. Only time will tell if this will be a problem. Instructions are very good. They say to leave the 4’ X 4’ post 3’ above ground. I believe about 4’ could be left above ground and it might be a bit sturdier.

It was a difficult to slide the pieces together, I could not have done it on my own. And the mailbox is HUGE and we had a good laugh at it once installed. But the mail people absolutely love it and stopped to thank us. They don’t need to get out and bring the packages to the porch anymore.

Nice size, saves me a trip to the post office several times a month when I have too much outgoing mail for a standard size box. Very simple assembly and install, a 10 year old could do it properly. It has recessed sides for 3" vinyl numbers. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because without any kind of overlap or seal on the door it does occasionally get rain inside. There are large ridges in the bottom so your mail is not sitting down in a puddle, but it does get a bit wet once in a while.

Had a handy man put it in concrete with a 4x4. I'm 80 but put it together in about 20 minutes to have ready for him. If younger I could have done it myself.Bought the post and rail but changed my mind and went with the full size 4x4 in concrete because it was heavy. Took the short post back to Home Depot - no problem.Recommend it. Very satisfied.

Overall a very nice mailbox. Enjoy the larger box able to fit more packages in. My only criticism is that to mailbox itself is not as stable as I would like it to be. It is a bit “top heavy” if you will. A better way to attach to the post for stability would be recommended.
