Barbara CookVintage Pressbook
Up for auction is a vintage Barbara Cook press book or press kit, measuring approximately 8.5 by 11 inches in size. The press book consists of a cardboard folder with flaps at the bottom of each side, which are designed to hold the following items: two black and white glossy press photographs; a six page, mimeographed "Biography of Barbara Cook"; a total of nine pages of photocopied articles or reviews, all dated from 1975 to 1976; and two copies of a two page letter from Astrid Lasky, introducing her as she is scheduled to perform a benefit concert for the Rudolf Steiner School.
The press book is in good, vintage condition. However, the folder has writing in both pencil (near the top of the front cover) and ink (to one of the flaps), along with some overall soiling and wear, including a tear along the bottom 1.25 inches of the spine of the folder. There is also some slight creasing to both of the photographs, and a line of ink to one of the photocopied sheets.
At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage souvenir program books, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible. If this is something that you are interested in, please check out these other listings as well.

Thank you for looking. If you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures, please e-mail me as I would be happy to provide additional details. Please note that all items being sold come from a smoke-free and pet-free home. I am not a professional dealer, and am simply downsizing after years of collecting. I try very hard to accurately list and describe the condition of each item that I sell, and can appreciate the frustration of receiving an item that is not as described. Being human, I will occasionally make a mistake, and may miss a flaw or imperfection that would leave one dissatisfied with their purchase. If this occurs, and you feel that the item you receive is not as described, please contact me immediately. My goal is that each individual who buys from me is happy with their purchase.
