    This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of the 1983 Broadway revival of the JERRY HERMAN musical comedy classic "MAME" at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City. (The production opened July 24th, 1983 and ran for a limited engagement of only 41 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANGELA LANSBURY (shown in a photo on the backside), winner of the Tony Award for her original portrayal of "Mame Dennis" in 1966 and featured ANNE FRANCINE, JANE CONNELL and WILLARD WATERMAN .....
