This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of the Original West End production of the CHARLES STROUSE, MARTIN CHARNIN and THOMAS MEEHAN musical comedy hit "ANNIE" at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened April 21st, 1977 at the Alvin Theatre in New York City and ran for 2377 performances. The London production opened May 3rd, 1978 and ran for 1485 performances.) ..... The musical starred STRATFORD JOHNS as "Oliver Warbucks", SHEILA HANCOCK as "Miss Hannigan" and ANDREA McARDLE in the title role, recreating her Tony nominated Broadway performance. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
