This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the opening of theOriginal West End production of the DAVID MAMET play "AMERICAN BUFFALO" at the Duke of York's Theatre in London. (The production originally opened June 3rd, 1981
at the Off-Broadway Circle in the Square in New York City
and ran for 262 performances before moving on October 27th, 1983 to New York's Booth Theatre for an additional 93 performances. The London production opened August 2nd, 1984.) ..... The play

This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 1/4" X 8 1/4" inches and includes a wonderful illustration of AL PACINO and production credits on the front and performance times, ticket prices and excerpts from a number of New York reviews on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light edge wear, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
